A Humberside vehicle conversions company, which fits a variety of lift solutions for the commercial sector, is supporting the increase in deliveries as a result of online and e-commerce purchases. With the UK reported to have the third largest e-commerce market in the world the industry is valued at over £600 billion and as such has brought challenges to the delivery network in terms of manual handing.

Humberside Tail Lifts, which works with a number of customers across the Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire areas to facilitate the easy movement of goods, has seen a growing demand for commercial lifts to meet manual handling requirements and is set to continue its relationship with Faiveley Vapor Ricon.

Working in tandem with the sales team at Faiveley Vapor Ricon bespoke solutions were found when required to ensure the correct product is specified for each and every project from cargo to domestic vehicle solutions.

Solution

Humberside Tail Lifts raft of experience in vehicle conversions ensures that the correct product is chosen for the correct vehicle. Lifts have been fitted in a number of vehicle types ranging from small and medium to large commercial vans, to help with the movement of heavy and cumbersome cargo for a number of businesses.

It is possible to specify either rear or side access depending on the vehicle type or size and this brings great flexibility when finding solutions that work for those using the lift, those operating the lift and the product that may need to be loaded on to the lift.

Results

All of the lifts supplied to Humberside Tail Lifts fulfil a specific request and are fitted by the company to ensure correct operation. One example was the installation, at their fully equipped workshop in Hull, of six Ricon C5055 commercial lifts into Mercedes Sprinter Vans for Roanza Truck and Van in Liverpool. Due to the straightforward installation process, we could fit two per day giving a quick turnaround for our customer.
